●入學資訊
申請者應在申請日期截止前，將申請文件直接寄到語文中心華語文教學組，並繳交下列文件：
1.報名表兩份。
2.兩吋的半身照片5張。
3.學歷證件及成績單影本。(最高學歷之畢業證書影本)
4.推薦信一封。
5.健康證明書一份(包括愛滋病檢驗報告、胸部X光檢查報告及德國麻疹之健康證明)。（最近三個月內）
6.護照之個人基本資料影本一張。(包括照片、姓名、出生年月日、護照號碼等相關內容)
7.財力證明：近三個月內約美金兩仟伍佰元之財力證明一份。

●申請流程
1.於報名日期截止之前，繳交相關文件。
2.報名日期截止後14天（含假日），將寄出審核通過者的「入學許可證明」。
3.收到「入學許可證明」後，即辦理相關簽證事宜；根據中華民國政府相關規定：凡外國留學生，每週至少上課15小時始為正式學生，方得以辦理學生簽證資格。
4.本中心亦接受親自報名或委託友人代為報名。

●註冊事宜
經審核通過之學員，接到入學註冊通知後，應親自於註冊日期（開課前一週）內，至中心辦理註冊手續並繳交學費。辦理註冊手續時，應攜帶下列表件備驗：
1.學歷證書及影本乙份(申請時已繳交可免)
2.護照正本(備驗)及影本乙份(繳交)
3.已辦妥之簽證影本
4.繳交與護照相同之兩吋半身脫帽相片５張(申請時已繳交可免)
5.入學許可證明
6.學費：請學員攜帶現金費用（新台幣）親至語文中心辦公室報名(教材講義費另計)

  1. 1.Study materials are not included within the course fee.
  2. 2.A full refund will be issued only if classes are cancelled for lack of applicants.
  3. 3.Fees cannot be refunded and transferred, but can be deferred until the next session.
  4. 4.Fees are non-transferable, non-refundable, and non-deferrable after the start of the session.

    Submit all application materials in a single packet to:

NUK will assess your application. If you are successful, you will be sent an offer package (Acceptance Letter and other information about commencing at National University of Kaohsiung) within 14 days after the application deadline. Using the Letter of Acceptance, you can apply for a Visitor Visa at the nearest Taiwan representative office in your country.

Application Checklist

The following application materials must accompany your application form:

  • Two copies of completed application form (with 5 passport photos attached).
  • A photocopy of diploma, school transcripts or equivalent academic records listing courses and grades.
  • A letter of recommendation (in English or Chinese).
  • A health certificate (X-ray report, HIV test result, etc.) issued within the past 3 months by a licensed hospital or clinic.
  • A Financial statement with a minimum amount of US$2,500, indicating sources of support, which must be valid for at least 3 months from the day the Language Center receives it.
  • A photocopy of the first page of the passport.

 

Housing and Recreational Services


On-campus housing

  • The university-managing housing is on campus. A typical room is curtained and furnished with a bed, wardrobe, shelves, a desk and chair. Bathroom facilities are normally shared. All bedrooms are
    connected to the main University computer network, so those of you with a PC can access the Internet.

    Other amenities:
    1. vending machine and lounge with color TV
    2. adjacent Recreation Center (Recreational opportunities include basketball, volleyball,swimming, jogging, table tennis, badminton, tennis, aerobics, and more.)
    3. self-service laundry service

  • Alternative Housing Options:
    If you are taking an intensive course and need accommodations for shorter periods of time, we will be happy to help you find alternative housings that are not owned or operated by the University.

Placement Test

You are required to take the Chinese Placement Test before you take any courses at the Language Center. The test is used only to put you in the appropriate class Normally the Test will take place two days before classes start.
