Joining ˇ§Interlibrary Cooperation Association (ILCA)ˇ¨

Service for patrons ˇG
Most people who apply for the service of interlibrary currently are senior undergraduates and academic staff. Since September 2004, ILCA has granted teachers the document processing priority with photocopy bills paid monthly. Copied documents with a copy receipt will be sent directly to the teacher's mail's box in the departmental office by the interlibrary staff. The receipt needs to be signed and the payment has to be cleared by the first day of the following month.

Interlibrary loan service

As a four-year-old institution, the University Library has the latest and novel collections, but lacks retrospective resources. Without sufficient fund, the Library has been seeking mutually beneficial interlibrary cooperation with other schools, expecting to employ shared recourses to facilitate the teaching, research and learning of the staff and students of the University and other member universities.

Joining ˇ§Library University (LU)ˇ¨

The Library has joined ˇ§Library Universityˇ¨ to 1) offer loan convenience for the University staff and students, who may enjoy the library collections and resources of the universities of Kaohsiung, 2) increase the value of the university libraries, 3) share resources, and 4) promote quality teaching and research.
