General InformationLocation: Kaohsiung city locates in the southern Taiwan, which is the second largest city in Taiwan with a population of 1,5 millions of residents. Enrollment: Total students: 3,269 / Non-R.O.C. students: 143 Description: Established in 2000, National University of Kaohsiung is one of the youngest institution of higher learning in Taiwan. NUK has currently over 3,000 students, and its nationally recognized academic divisions provide 17 baccalaureate degree programs at the undergraduate level and 4 master's degrees . The 82.5-acre campus is located in northern Kaohsiung city, surrounded by 204 acres of farming land. More information can be found at the University Website below.

Other expenses (room, board, insurance, books, transportation, miscellaneous) are the responsibility of the student. Outgoing exchange students continue to be eligible for their usual financial aid when participating in international exchanges.

The university will request information needed to prepare an official approval of acceptance letter for applicants. Students will use this official document to apply for a student visa.
